Blue Back Trout or Sunapee Trout

This trout used to be native to several lakes including the Sunapee Lake for which it was named for. It is now extinct in all but one lake in Maine where it is native, Floods Pond. However, the species was introduced to other areas and now resides in approximately ten lakes. Maine is still where the majority of the fish live and they can be fished in the summer.
