Tiger trout

The tiger trout is named because of the similar markings to a tiger. Tiger sharks are a hybrid of a male brown trout and female brook trout. Unfortunately, the result is a sterile fish so the only way they can be repopulated is through hatcheries. This is a highly aggressive fish which is great for fishermen who like a challenge but it can also have negative effects on other fish in the area. They like to feed on other fish and are difficult to catch. Tiger trout can be found all across the United States, in England, Australia and New Zealand.
